To all Tennessee Lodges:
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has advised the Grand Lodge that credible threats against some lodges in Tennessee have been reported. For now these are just threats, scare tactics, and bad language, within Middle Tennessee, but your Grand Lodge wants all subordinate lodges to be aware.
Should your lodge receive or hear any credible threats, scare tactics, or bad language against any lodge, by email or social media, please report this to the Grand Lodge, who will in turn inform the TBI.
Let’s keep our lodges safe and secure from all external threats.

Concerning Proxies at Grand Communication
Proxies are ONLY valid when there are NO elected lodge officers attending the Grand Lodge Session.
If the Worshipful Master is there, and the Senior and Junior Warden are not, the Worshipful Master receives the other two votes. A proxy CANNOT be used for either the Junior Warden or the Senior Warden.
There has also been some confusion as to who can hold a Proxy:
A duly elected proxy can be a Past Master.
A duly elected proxy can also be a Master Mason in good standing.
A proxy must be signed by the Worshipful Master and Secretary of the lodge, and in the hands of the brother attending Grand Lodge.
